Prayer Before Exams

With finals and the end of year exams coming up, take time to pray this prayer: Lord, it seems as though our lives are one test after another, weighing us in somebody’s balance. Save us from taking the coming tests too seriously or too lightly, but grant that we may reflect the best work we’ve done and the best of the teaching we have received; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. (John W. Vannorsdall). Good luck to everyone on their exams!!!!

Religious Education - Class Information

RELIGIOUS ED CLASSES
Registration Packets for Religious Education classes and Confirmation will be sent out in mid August. Please watch for them in your mailbox. If you do not receive one, contact Michelle to have one mailed to you. Registration was held during masses the middle of August and classes began September 12th. Schedules and registration forms are available on this website. The Sophomore class will receive Confirmation preparation, and will be confirmed in the Spring of 2012. The Confirmation dates are now available and can be viewed on the Confirmation page. Catholic School Students will be attending classes all year with the public school students – space may be limited.

Any Juniors or Seniors who have not yet been confirmed can also register for Confirmation classes. There will also be a Freshman and Junior/Senior class available. Call Michelle at 478-5011 if you have any questions in the meantime.

Please click on the "RELIGIOUS EDUCATION" link on the left this page to view information for Religious Education, Confirmation, RCIA for Teens and Theology of the Body for Teens Classes.

This month the young people in the parish who are preparing for Confirmation will be reflecting on the significance of the ritual of anointing with the sacred Chrism in the right of Confirmation. In the anointing candidates are “sealed” with the gift of the Holy Spirit, who makes it possible to continue the ministry of Jesus. How do we as a parish live as “anointed ones”?
